First off was La Bufadora, Mexico two weeks ago. 3 hours south of San Diego, La Buf is known for a stunning coastline, a natural blow hole in its cliffs, and the advanced diving off shore. Guess which one I was there for? First time divers (virgins) to La Buf are also obligated to do a Rattlesnake Shooter at the local bar. I'll save that pic for another time, after the furor over the finger-in-Wendies-chili-thing has died down.
Last weekend I shot some video (gratis) for an excellent non-profit org called the Moonridge Animal park. They were having their annual season opener and wanted some video coverage. I'm pleased to align myself with these fine people and anticipate getting some up close and personal footage of many of the animals. (They have a Snow Leopard!) They also have a brand new addition to the zoo. A tiny orphan whose name is up for choosing:
I've started up a new scuba class, this time made up of high school students (and a few parents) from the local district. A marine biology class no less. Very smart group.
